Reflection
As the superintendent's administrative assistant for 4 years, I had the opportunity to review school policies, prepare the school board meeting agenda's, send out minutes, and archive everything! Additionally, I created red-lined versions of policies and handbooks. During my practicum experience, I worked with the site team to create multiple plans for reentry into the building during COVID by following policies and laws put in to place. I also followed all applicable laws as the MCA testing coordinator for the Glyndon location. Not only did I create all the rosters, but I completed staff training and logistics. Finally, I learned so incredibly much in my ED 631 course regarding school law. I am intrigued by this topic and do not think I can ever know enough. For this reason, I think policy and law is a growth area for me.
